Alison Crocker, DVM

Dr. Alison Crocker is a general practitioner at Bigger Road Veterinary Clinic.

A native of Ohio, Dr. Crocker has worked with animals since her first job at the age of 14. Her roles have included being a kennel assistant, receptionist, veterinary nurse, and, since 1998, a veterinarian. She attended Miami University in Ohio and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology in 1995. Her education continued at the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine where she was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.

Keeping a visit to the veterinarian as stress-free as possible is always one of Dr. Alison’s goals and she has been working diligently to train staff and develop protocols to help accomplish this. She particularly enjoys internal medicine cases and helping owners who are experiencing behavior problems with their furry family members. She is a member of Phi Zeta, the veterinary medical honor society.

When she’s not busy with her duties at the hospital, Dr. Crocker enjoys reading, history, flower gardening, hiking, and being active in many scouting adventures. She and her husband, Dr. Conan Crocker, who is also a veterinarian, are the proud parents of three children, Camon, Dasha and Rya. The family includes two dogs, Kiono and Spring; three cats, Khan, Fungo, and Nyla; and a Dutch rabbit named Beatrice Bun- Bun.
