Dr. Elizabeth Blakelock, a Medical Director and general practitioner, has been taking exceptional care of the clients and patients at Bigger Road Veterinary Clinic since 1989. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science from the University of Kentucky and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University in 1987. She practiced in Pennsylvania for two years before joining Bigger Road Veterinary Clinic in 1989. She has received advanced certificates in ultrasound and endoscopy. She has a special interest in internal medicine and reproduction.
Dr. Blakelock, her husband, and two children share their home with a Dachshund named Heidi, and two cats, Agatha and Howie. She enjoys white water river rafting and playing flute in the community band of her hometown, Yellow Springs.
Dr. Blakelock is a certified Fear Free Professional.
