Randi Timmons, DVM
Dr. Randi Timmons grew up in Piedmont, Oklahoma where she cared for a multitude of stray pets that found their way into her home. She received all her formal education in Tennessee. Her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology came from the Lincoln Memorial University, where she graduated cum laude. Her Master’s program through Middle Tennessee State University involved studying salamanders. She was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The University of Tennessee in 2010.
Bigger Road Veterinary Clinic happily welcomed her to the practice in 2012.
During her studies Dr. Timmons worked at the College of Veterinary Medicine’s specimen lab, where she developed a strong interest in parasitology and cytology. She brings those skills along with a passion for feline medicine, geriatric pets, and physical rehabilitation to Bigger Road.
Outside the practice Dr. Timmons enjoys spending time with her husband John, their son Shea, daughter Stella, a beagle terrier mix named Codi and their 3 cats. She enjoys outdoor activities such as biking, hiking and soccer (she used to play professionally!)
Dr. Timmons is a certified Fear Free Professional.
