Canine Influenza Update (and savings for our clients!):

Do your pets go to grooming, day care, boarding, dog parks, other dogs' homes, or any place where they interact with other dogs? If so, they may be at higher risk of contracting canine flu virus. Our veterinarians have been watching the progression of canine flu for some time. While we did not initially recommend the vaccine for most patients due to low risk in our area, with the recent surge of positive cases in Ohio we are encouraging pets at elevated risk to be vaccinated now.

For our patients current on their annual exam with one of our veterinarians, we are offering a limited time opportunity to vaccinate your dog WITHOUT paying an office call or exam fee. Initially, two vaccines are required, three weeks apart. Each vaccine costs $34, so your total cost will be $68 for both - and you'll save $74 in office call charges! Multiple dogs? No problem - just schedule all pets and pay for the two vaccines per pet.

For your convenience, at your request the flu vaccine can also be administered during any paid office call with a veterinarian, or during your pet's scheduled grooming, boarding, or day care appointment at either location, as long as one of our doctors has examined the pet in the past 12 months.

Symptoms of canine influenza include fever, cough, lethargy, decreased appetite and can lead to pneumonia and/or death.

Schedule now - offer valid through 12-31-17. Appointments can be made at either location during any of our business hours, and will be done with a technician.

Please call for more information or to schedule: 937-435-3262 (Kettering) or 937-514-7702 (Springboro).
